Her Tribe Ambassadors

Meet the Her Tribe Athletics Ambassadors!

Hi, I’m Amy and I’m from NH. I'm a wife, mom of two, and certified personal trainer. I’m also a runner, yogi, and all around fitness junkie! I've run 2 full marathons, 4 half marathons, and 5 obstacle course races. I have a Bachelors Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Ithaca College and a Masters of Public Health from the University of New Hampshire. I've been an athlete most of my life, but found a true passion for fitness after my two children were born. I lost 50 lbs on my weight loss journey and haven't looked back! I love supporting other women and I'm excited to be a Her Tribe Athletics ambassador. Find Amy on IG @a_mag_28

 Jen P.

I’m Jen, I currently live in NH with my husband Jeff and our dog Grayson. We don’t have any children, but as a Chiropractor I do take care of lots of people as they work towards optimal health and wellness. Way back when, I competed on my High school cross-country, indoor and outdoor track teams as a long distance runner, racing anywhere from the 800meters to the 5K distance. I competed from 8th grade until my sophomore year of college when I decided I needed a break from such intensity. Since then, I have expanded my love of fitness by getting into hiking, backpacking (I’ve thru-hiked the Appalachian trail 3 times), trail running, strength training and anything really that keeps me moving and gets me outside. I still run on a regular basis with not only my Husband, but some powerful, amazing ladies who I’ve met through group runs. I have some big, hairy, audacious goals for myself in terms of running with my sights set on ultra marathon distances! I’m excited to help expand the Her Tribe Athletics brand as I work my way towards those goals and a stronger me! You can find Jen on IG @wakajen

 Katie F.

Hi, I’m Katie (from Ohio)! I found Her Tribe Athletics through Instagram as I’ve ventured on a weight loss journey over the past couple of years. In that time, I’ve lost more than 160 pounds and gained SO MUCH life. I’d now call myself a runner alongside my other titles of teacher, ice cream aficionado, and friend.

HTA gear has been there for me through it all, and there are plenty of runs I wouldn’t have had the courage to even start (let alone finish) without the encouragement of my tank tops! (It doesn’t hurt to pair them with super cute leggings too!) I love that Meg and Her Tribe Athletics allows me to believe in myself while I do hard things. I’m planning on a big year in 2019 and looking forward to all in store! You can find Katie on IG @weightlossindresses

Hi I’m Brittany (from PA)! Even from a young age, I struggled with weight. This became a limiting factor as early as 7th grade when I was denied access to a roller coaster on a school trip. I fed every emotion with food! At the age of 23 I worked my way up to 514 pounds, I was living a sheltered life, and was the limiting factor for my students. In June of 2016 I decided enough was enough. I made my why bigger than my excuses. It was a long journey ahead of me, but I took it one day, one step, one choice, and one new healthy habit at a time. In two years I shed 2/3 of my body weight, but also created a life of freedom! I'm exponentially more available for those folks in my life. Today I'm the best teacher, fiancé, daughter, friend, etc that I can possibly be! You can find Brittany on IG @miss_itty_britty

I’m Tanya, and I’m a runner from Minnesota. I’ve been running distance since I was 18 and started doing races in 2008. Since then I’ve completed 90+ races, including 12 half marathons, 4 full marathons and everything in between. I’m hoping to make Chicago 2019 my fifth full! In my spare time, whatever that is, I love watching scary movies and I’m also a huge Marvel and Transformers nerd. You can find Tanya on IG @littecoffeerunner

My name is Justine (from NH). I'm an engineer who loves running in her spare time. I've been running for 2 years and have completed 5 half marathons and 2 full marathons. I actually found out that I was pregnant right after my last half marathon! Even though running is my first love, I also love hiking, spinning, yoga, lifting, and barre! My running in 2019 is going to look a little different with a growing belly but I still plan to run or cross train every day! You can find Justine on IG @Willrunfornachos

I’m KC (from NY) & I’m a wife, mother, runner, sometimes-blogger, and barre name a few.  Running has gifted me with a special kind of self confidence, that I now try to help instill in others.  I’m passionate about empowering the power of others, and encouraging others to believe in themselves. You can find KC on IG @gomommy_go

My name is Sarah (from NH) & I'm so excited to be an ambassador for Her Tribe Athletics! I'm a kindergarten teacher turned stay-at-home Mom to two pretty awesome kids. My daughter, is 5 & my son is 3. Hubby works hard so I can be home with our kiddos. Mother, Wife, Runner, Teacher- I wear many hats. As a stay-at-home Mom, running has become my me time, keeps me strong & healthy and helps to keep my sanity! I have been running for 9 years but only in the last couple years have I been running longer distances. I've run 10 half marathons and 1 full to date. I love setting an example for my kiddos at such a young age-- Moms/Women can be strong. Both my son and daughter love to "run races, like Mommy" around the house. When I'm not running, I enjoy reading (when I get a chance), crafting & playing with my kids, going to the lake, splurging on ice cream and donuts (and coffee!!) & spending time with family and friends. I'm really looking forward to 2019 and being a part of this wonderful Tribe of women!  You can find Sarah on IG @running4sanitywithsarah

Hi! I’m April! I am an avid runner, traveler and aspiring recreational chef who grew up in Maine and now live in Boston. I found running again several years after college, when I realized how important it was to prioritize my health and sanity from a hectic finance work schedule.  Running, cycling, yoga - it’s all a perfect way to unwind, meet incredibly inspiring folks, and explore my curiosity for all things fitness. It has certainly been a journey after 2 marathons, 4 half marathons, 1 triathlon, lots of 10Ks/5Ks and plenty of spills off of my bicycle and I look forward to seeing where it takes me next (bumps, bruises and all)! You can find April on IG @fit_nerd_runner

My name is Teresa (from PA). I am a wife and mom to 2 kids- 1 girl 1 boy. I work as a school nurse and LOVE my job. I have been a runner only for about 5 years. I’m Kaley! I’m a wife and mom of 3 living in Kansas City! I hold a bachelors in Fine Arts and Masters in Art Therapy, so color, creativity and self-expression are just some of my passions. I was raised playing ladies basketball and soccer and enjoy just about any form of exercise or physical training! I currently work as an art therapist with older adults with Alzheimer’s and dementia, as well as at our local children’s hospital. Actively making time for my own self-care and especially my physical health and physical activity has become my top priority as a busy working-mom to maintain a health mind-body balance!

In my free time I enjoy working on projects around our house, working in the yard, exploring Kansas City with my family, and working out.
Being a part of Her Tribe is such a meaningful endeavor. As a mom of 2 young girls and having been raised by many strong women, I recognize the importance of positive role modeling. I love showing them how to build self-confidence and promote self love through physical activity, maintaining a strong and healthy body and self-care. You can find Kaley on IG @self_care_squared

Hi! I’m Kelly, a 35 year old stay-at-home mom to 2 very fun & active little boys in Rochester, NY! I started running about 13 years ago as a way to get in shape, and did a few 5K/10K races along the way. BUT, after I started this gig as a SAHM in 2013, I really needed an outlet that would allow me to challenge myself outside of child-rearing. (It’s amazing, don’t get me wrong, but it can be very all-consuming, as so many moms know!) I poured myself into running and never looked back. Since then, I’ve completed 6 half marathons, 2 marathons, 2 triathlons, plus numerous smaller races. I love how running pushes me to constantly find new boundaries for myself. I have done more athletically in the last 5 years than I’d have ever imagined in my teens or 20s! I am so excited to see where running and triathlon take me in the future.  Katie L.

Hi, I’m Katie, an army-wife currently living outside of Boston, MA!  I’m a mom a toddler and twin boys, and after having three kids in two years, I’m slowly and steadily getting back into running and all things fitness.  I’m currently training for a half-Ironman triathlon in August to prove (mostly to myself) that I’m still the athlete I used to be.  When I’m not training or being a full-time mom/wife, I enjoy visiting the National Parks, reading, and blogging at You can find Katie on IG @keep_upkate

Hi! I’m Lindsey (from NH). I played organized sports through college, including soccer and rugby. I dabbled in running but didn’t truly get into it until the year my daughter was born and I needed to combat low-level depression. I started the couch to 5K program and quickly fell in love with running. Nowadays, any physical activity that gets me outside feeds my soul, but running remains my favorite! You can find Lindsey on IG @okayest_runner_80

Hi, I am Jennifer (from MD). I have always enjoyed staying active by playing sports in high school and working out at the gym. I was a total gym rat for 23 yrs., my shoes never hit the pavement! On a whim I signed up to run a half marathon in 2015, in which I found my passion for running & racing. Since then I became a half marathon fanatic, completed 3 marathons, and an ultra runner. Besides spending my time running, I am married with 2 beautiful kids, have a background in finance, enjoy hiking, gardening, cooking/ baking and love doughnuts!! I am so thrilled to be part of this team!
